“Veneer of Civilization,” Greg’s Aerial Fine Art Photographic Print

Veneer of Civilization

“Veneer of Civilization,” reflects my fascination with the eternal efforts of humankind to tame the Earth, even while nature exerts itself as the victor from beneath the surface.

One might not notice from the ground, but from the air it’s obvious that the natural flow of water is disrupting human efforts to subjugate this Kansas farmland.

This photograph was taken en route from Wichita, Kansas to Flagstaff, Arizona, on a flight associated with Greg’s January, 2012 Flying Carpet column, “Follow that Bicycle!”

“Veneer of Civilization,” debuts in Limited Edition  27″x40″ and 24″x36″ prints, and Open Editions of 16″x24″ and 10″x14″. Print prices range from $175 to $1500, with many options in between. See detailed pricing and ordering information.

Like all my Views from the Flying Carpet, this photograph was collaboratively tuned for print with Master Photographic Printer Richard Jackson, who prints for the world’s finest photographers. Each individual print is meticulously crafted, matted and/or framed, and packaged for shipping under Mr. Jackson’s supervision.
