“Ships of the Desert,” Greg’s latest Aerial Fine Art Photographic Print

This month’s print, “Ships of the Desert,” features a view toward the Painted Desert, photographed from over the Hopi Nation, Arizona.

Jean and I were homeward bound from Telluride, Colorado to Flagstaff one blustery day, when we noted the tint of blowing dust imparting a ghostliness to the already otherworldy desert landscape. (Read about the journey in my April Flying Carpet column, “Ski Telluride.”)

“Ships of the Desert,” debuts in Limited Edition sizes of 27″x40″ and 24″x36″, and Open Editions of 16″x24″ and 10″x14″. Print prices range from $175 to $1500, with many options in between. See detailed pricing and ordering information.

Like all my Views from the Flying Carpet, this photograph was collaboratively tuned for print with Master Photographic Printer Richard Jackson, who prints for the world’s finest photographers. Each individual print is meticulously crafted, matted and/or framed, and packaged for shipping under Mr. Jackson’s supervision.

I love the way this particular image captures the spiritual magic of the Desert Southwest, beyond even the incredible landforms themselves. Let me know if you agree!
