Derek Ellis “Flying Carpet” video wins Student Emmy

Please join me in congratulating my friend videographer Derek Ellis for winning two student Emmy Awards Friday night!

I am honored to report that one of Derek’s Emmys is for the View from the Flying Carpet video short* he shot last spring about my flying and aerial photography. (His other win is for a group project entitled The Mutable Life of Oscar Clark.)

Derek is a recent video production graduate of Northern Arizona University, now working freelance.
